Hide the subtitles with a shortcut

Want to watch a scene without any text? Hide the translated subtitles for a moment without changing a setting.

Steps

1. Press Alt+Shift+S (Option+Shift+S on a Mac). The subtitles disappear, and a short note reminds you how to bring them back.
2. Press it again to show them.

Good to know

• The cover strip hides along with the subtitles.
• To use a different key, open chrome://extensions/shortcuts in Chrome and change "Show or hide the translated subtitles" under Donghua Mate.
